Designer Profile: Parisian Garden by Ines Di Santo

Inspired by the romance and beauty of Paris

Captivating images of women gliding through Paris’ gardens, while their full organza skirts sweep along petal-strewn paths - are brought to life this season by Ines Di Santo's stunning designs.

With a lush palette of rose petal pinks and pretty peaches, Ines Di Santo uses the most luxurious tulles, silks and satins to create statement gowns. Dramatic silhouettes and jaw dropping styles enchanted us at the Fall 2010 NYC Bridal Market. A unique crinkled shantung voluminous ball gown looked graceful and lithe as it floated down the runway. Tiers of micro-pleated tulle finished with a point d’esprit border and trimmed in grosgrain ribbon added a touch of preppy polish to a stunning strapless style. A translucent corset scattered with brilliant paillettes brought sparkle and shine to a design that was nothing short of a fantasy.

Slimmer silhouettes debuted as well, one showcasing a soft Grecian style made of silk chiffon and another in a glamorous silk caddice fabric accented with an illusion jewelled back.

Beyond these eye-catching showstoppers, Ines never fails to deliver fresh versions of her sexy signature style: an elongated waist with a flared skirt.

If you’re in the market for a mini this season, consider Ines Di Santo’s ‘City of Light’ inspiration- a pearl-encrusted, spaghetti strap, A-line dress, adorned with flower-shaped paillettes.

Ines Di Santo gowns can be found in the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, The Middle East, as well as in Canada at her exclusive Ines Di Santo boutique on Davenport and Avenue Road (just north of Hazelton Lanes) and at Veronica Di Santo Atelier in Woodbridge, Ont.
