The Middleton’s Family Jewels for the Royal Wedding Day

The Middletons had jewellery commissioned with meaning for Kate’s wedding day!

Inspired by the family’s new coat of arms and wanting to give their daughter, Kate Middleton, now the Duchess of Cambridge, a unique wedding present from them, the Middleton parents, Michael and Carole commissioned Robinson Pelham, a very discreet but well established London, England-based jeweller to create a gift for her.

Robinson Pelham, created a diamond set of earrings styled to look like oak leaves with a pear shaped diamond drop earring and a pave set diamond acorn suspended in the centre.

Inspiration for the design came from the family’s new coat of arms which includes acorns and oak leaves. The earrings were also made to echo the tiara Kate Middleton would be wearing at the wedding.

Robinson Pelham also designed and made a pair of diamond earrings for Miss Philippa Middleton, Kate’s sister and maid-of-honour. These earrings are more floral in nature to complement her headpiece worn during the wedding ceremony.

A tourmaline and diamond pendant and matching earrings were also designed and made for the Mother-of-the-bride, Carole Middleton.

And for the Middleton men, Pelham designed two gold stick pins, one with a single gold acorn at the head and the other with an oak leaf, worn by Michael Middleton, father of the bride, and the bride’s brother, James Middleton.
