TheRingBearer.ca had a chance to speak with Charles Baker Strahan, whose years of styling have made him gain the philosophy that healthy cutting, healing, styling and moderation are the keys to achieving manageable results.
TRB: What bridal styles do you see for the upcoming season? Charles: You’ll see a lot of cleaner up do’s.I see a return to elegance; you want to be able to look back at your wedding pictures and see a classic look.
TRB: What do you predict for upcoming trends? Charles: You’ll be seeing a lot of cropped hair, shorter blunts with more vibrant hair colours.
TRB:What tips can you give a bride going on her honeymoon? Charles: Men like hair that’s touchable, Herbal Essences new line “Tousle Me Softly” is perfect for any bride to take to any destination and not only will it leave your hair looking and feeling sexy, it’ll leave you with more time with your new husband.
TRB: What are some of your favourite products? Charles: Coming from a salon background, I am impressed with the functionality and performance of Herbal Essences products. I think one of the greatest things about Herbal Essence is its affordable.
TRB: What styling tools do you recommend splurging on? Charles: I recommend splurging on anything you use most. Things to look for are ionic blow dryers; for curling irons and flat irons, look for ones that have ceramic and heat adjustments. Remember less heat is more health.
TRB: What’s the most important styling tip for women? Charles: Over styled hair ages people. Keeping it natural is more appealing. Charles Baker Strahan’s celebrity clientele includes Leighton Meester, Jessica Szhor, Jenna Fischer, Becki Newton, Lindsay Price, Carrie Ann Inaba and Whitney Port.
