Jessica Simpson and her fiance, Eric Johnson, gave birth to a baby girl Maxwell Drew Johnson in L.A. "Eric and I are elated to announce the birth of our baby Maxwell Drew Johnson 9 lbs. 13 oz. 21 ¾,” Simpson wrote on her website.
“We are so grateful for all of the love, support and prayers we have received…this has been the greatest experience of our lives,” says Simpson.
This is a first child for Simpson and her fiancé Eric Johnson. The couple who have been engaged since November 2010 don’t have a wedding date set. Going down the aisle isn’t a priority for Simpson and Johnson. During a March appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Live, Simpson told the host that Johnson "feels like my husband already."
No wedding date has been set for these new proud parents, our bet is Maxwell may make a beautiful flower girl!
With the new movie What to Expect When You’re Expecting coming out in May it seems fitting that one of the stars of the movie, Jennifer Lopez, who is a mother herself, offered some advice to the new mom warning her of the rigours of motherhood. “She needs to get rest; hopefully her man is helping her out,” Lopez says.
