Here are some of Canada’s grand estates, which helped strengthen Canada’s mark in the wine world.
Inniskillin Although the name is Irish, Inniskillin is one of the most recognized Canadian wineries. Located in Niagara-on-the-Lake, this estate produces some of the top wines from the best grapes grown in the Niagara peninsula.
Jackson-Triggs Jackson-Triggs was founded by Allan Jackson and Don Triggs in 1993. As former employees of the Labatt wine division, they decided to start their own winery when Labatt chose to discontinue their wine division. Today Jackson-Triggs boasts a 47,000 square foot winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake and a 35,000 square foot estate in British Columbia.
