Tuscan Baguette

A delicious hors d'oeurve that will be a hit at your party!

Preparation Method: No cooking/freeze

Servings: 10

• 1 whole-wheat Baguette loaf
• 454g President’s Choice Classic Spinach Dip
• 1 bottle Valley Sun, Sun-Dried Tomato Halves
• Pitted Calmative Olives (found at the olive-bar of your local grocery store)

Cut the baguette length-wise down the center of the loaf making sure to not cut all the way through the bread. Scoop some of the soft inner bread out, making sure not to break the outer crust.

In a medium sized bowl, place 1 cup of pitted calmative olives and 1 cup of sun-dried tomatoes. Take a fork, and mash the two together into a spread-able paste. Cover and set aside in the fridge.

Spread a thin layer of the President’s Choice Spinach Dip onto one of the inside halves of the baguette. Take the olive and sun-dried tomato spread from the fridge and spoon equal amounts on top of the spinach dip.

Close the two halves of the baguette together. Wrap the baguette tightly with Saran making sure not to leave any of the bread exposed. Place the wrapped baguette into the freezer for 12hrs.
After 12hrs remove the baguette from the freezer and cut into slices. Serve with prosciutto.
