Rich's Pears

You'll impress your friends with this elegant but simple to make dessert/hors d'oeuvre

Ingredients
8 whole, semi-ripe pears
16 slices of Prosciutto
16tbsp of Low-Fat Kraft Philadelphia Cream Cheese
1cup of T. Marzetti Caramel Dip
5tsp of brown sugar
1tsp vanilla extract
1cup crushed Walnuts 
1cup raisin
 
 

Preparation:

Sauce:
1. In a bowl, add cream cheese, 0.5cup of caramel, brown sugar, vanilla extract and raisins.
2. Warm ingredients slightly in the microwave and mix ingredients together 


1. Bring a pot of water to boil
2. Add Pears to boiling water and Poach for 15-20min
3. After cook time, remove pears from the water and using an oven-mitt to hold the pears, slice in halves.
4. Scoop out a portion of the middle of the pear (a pairing knife works well to do this).

5. Place a slice of Prosciutto into the bottom of the pear
6. Pour sauce onto Prosciutto
7. Sprinkle crushed walnuts onto the top
