It's always fun to do something a little funky with your bridal nails, especially since cameras will be focused on your engagement ring and wedding band on your hand. This simple imprint technique is not only funky and super cool, it looks like it's professionally done!
Here's How To Do It
Materials:
A shot glass
Rubbing alcohol
Base coat
Nail Polish (used here is a grey pastel, but we also like pallet and shades of white, black, turquois and pastels)
Clear top coat
10 small strips of newspaper clippings
Step One: Apply one base coat followed by two coats of your pastel nail colour. Step Two: Pour rubbing alcohol into a shot glass and dip a fingertip into the glass. Step Three: Cover damp nail with a strip of newspaper clipping and firmly press in place for 30 seconds. Slowly peel newspaper off and allow to dry. Repeat on other fingernails. Step Four: Set with a top clear coat.
Experiment with different colours until you find the one you like. We absolutely love the look and the easy to get results.
