Disney actress and pop star Miley Cyrus has officially announced her engagement to The Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth. The pair met while they were shooting the film The Last Song together in 2009. They became engaged on May 31st but kept quiet about the news until recently. Cyrus confirmed her engagement via Twitter (https://twitter.com/#!/MileyCyrus), tweeting ‘thank you for all the love today :) I’m happy to share this news with you all. I feel like my dreams are coming true. have a great day.’
Hemsworth is about to begin a whirlwind year of filming, but before popping the question he made time to work with celebrity jeweller Neil Lane to create a unique engagement ring for Cyrus that includes a 3.5-carat cushion-cut diamond set in 18-karat gold with an intricately carved band. The diamond itself is an antique; it was hand-cut in the late 1800s. Cyrus has been known as a fashion risk taker in the past, sporting looks that have ranged from classic and elegant to rocker chic. At only 19 Cyrus is a young star who has been in the spotlight for many years. Through those years her style has grown and evolved. Princess
Having been a part of the Disney family for years, it makes sense that the former Hannah Montana might have an affinity for a princess style gown. This particular silhouette from Alita Graham not only features a full tulle skirt and sweetheart neckline, but it’s also made in a soft pink - the perfect touch for a young bride. 
Vintage
Since her ring is made from an antique diamond, Cyrus might choose to go this route for her wedding. This empire-waisted gown includes a beautiful embroidered waistband and the lace features give it a vintage feel. 
Beachy
This classic Amsale design is a great mix of glamour and simplicity. The combination of tulle and silk chiffon give it a youthful vibe and the floating skirt really evokes images of sand and surf.
