Re-invented, contemporary and cosmopolitan – summer 2010 collection presents a fresh new look for men at Tip Top Tailor.
“Spring Summer 2010 is inspired by colour, texture and pattern,” says Alvisio Violo, Creative Director of Merchandising at Tip Top Tailors.
There’s something for everyone, “colour palettes range from soft ice cream pales, rich sunset jewel tones, seaside inspired capri blue and exotic bright banana, bali and fiesta,” says Violo.
It’s all about the details, Violo says, “shirts will feature luxe contrast trims in velvet and gross grain ribbon. Contrast cuffs and neck detail add shelf appeal to solids and stripes.” Look for patterns like summer inspired gingham check and retro inspired plaid to add interest to denim and dark suitings.
“Stripes create a category of their own in candied, micro pin and rich dobby patterns. These patterns can be found in our beach inspired shorts to crisp cotton shirts,” says Violo.
This season you will find suit patterns subtle in micro stripes, mini neats and nail heads. The suit is more tailored with waist lines and shoulders refined to create dramatic angles. On the other hand, sport jackets are much more relaxed, lending themselves to the versatility of work and play.
Summer 2010 is filled with the excitement and anticipation of transitioning into a new season. A change is good and the change is now!
